I'm just going to apologize now...

...for the overload of Lucy pictures that are in need of posting.  So here is yet another random post.  That's how all of my posts seem to turn out these days, rAnDoM!

Our friend Diana watched Lucy while we went on a date a while ago and we came home to find this.  This is how she sleeps, isn't it funny?  That is one cute little bum.
We got a sweeet deal on this little picnic table and we were originally going to put it outside but Lucy loves to sit at it when she's having snacks.  She also has taken an interest in coloring about 2 months ago so this is also her little coloring station.  Also, I think little girl pajamas are my favorite.  These ones have little red riding hood all over them and they are soo stinkin cute.
Lucy & I both have some awesome nap faces going on.  I can't believe how much she looks like her dad.
This is my girl's favorite place to hang out...by the trash can.  Nice.  She recently figured out that if she pushes the button the top pops up and she has access to all the trash.  She also loves to get into the recycling and disperse it around the house for her mom to find later.  It's a little game we play.
This was the first time that she has fallen asleep in random place.  She missed her nap that day because my parents were visiting and just konked out during dinner.
Lucy is quite the lounger...I don't know where she gets that from... :)
One day it was raining cats and dogs and Lucy insisted that she go outside and play in it so I finally gave in and she had a blast splashing in the puddles.
She loves to smash herself against the door.  In this case it was the screen.  This one is so going on her wedding video.
Super Lucy!  Or more appropriately, Bat Girl!  She loves this little cape that her Aunty Lolo made.  She wears it around the house and busts out the wiffle bat and fights off evil villains like mom, dad, the garbage can, walls, and pretty much anything that comes in her path.
Isn't that awesome?
It is reversible too!  The other side has a superman "S" on it.
One day I came into her room to find this.  She dumped out all her toys and was just chillin' in the toy bin reading one of her favorite books, Numbers on the Farm.
Here are some shots of her on the playground, that is conveniently located right outside our front door.  It is sooo nice.
She loves playing peek-a-boo through all the holes of this.
Her favorite shovel.
She is such a little climber these days.  She loves to climb on the coffee table and watch Sesame Street.  I took a picture of her face right when Elmo's World came on.  She's a fan, as you can tell.
Luce is such a sillypants sometimes.  She kept pulling all these goofy faces so here are just a few.
She loves to try on our shoes.
I ponytailed the mullet!  It makes her look so old!  I still haven't got the courage to cut it.  One of these days I promise you it will be gone.
Ha ha, this was just a few weeks ago.  This is when we had the mouse cornered underneath the table holding our printer.  Lucy was ready to get the mouse if he tried to make a run for it.
We had the electric fly swatter ready too.  You may think we are a little heartless but this little guy pooped all over so much stuff and ate our buns!  He lived in Trey's boot for the week that he was in our house.  And he pooped on our couch, our couch!!!  Gross!
Can you see his tail?  He was a tiny guy but he sure was fast.  He went to mouse-heaven soon after this picture was taken.  Anytime I start feeling bad about killing the mouse, I just think about those little mouse turds I found on the couch and then I don't feel so bad anymore.
Sometimes Lucy does these things and I just think, where did she come up with that?  She certainly did not learn that from me.  Like this, for example.  She loves putting pencils, crayons, pens, and pretzel sticks in between her big toe and second toe.  Her she is eating a pretzel stick while holding it with her toes.  It's quite humorous to watch.
She loves her hippo pool and loves to hide underneath and then pop out and scare us.  One time she really did scare me because I had no idea she was hiding under it.
Here she is getting ready to eat another pretzel.  You can see why we call her monkey all the time.
Okay so I had to put up at least one messy face picture.  I promise I won't gross you out with more. :)  The girl loves her smoothies.  She likes to eat them with a spoon.  It is a tedious process but she doesn't seem to mind.
This next group of pics are my favorites.  I am semi-obsessed with her bear hat that Miss Bets, Miss Bev, and Aunty Kate gave her.
I found her pink UGG-ish boots at a consignment sale, brand new, for $5!!  Score!
She always gets so excited when we go outside.  She flies down the stairs, scooting her little bum down those steps like it's on fire.  Look how happy she is.
Playing in the dirt, one of her favorites.
Sliding down the big slide, one of her other favorites.  She likes to go down with someone, although she has gone solo a few times.  Daring little almost-18-monther I'd say!
And this is Lucy's most favoritest of all her favorites...the swing!!  Check out her many faces of joy.
And now some reflecting time...
If you've made it to this point, Congratulations!!!  You made it to the end of the post.  Sorry, I'll try to be better at posting more often rather than doing a massive photo dump.  Hope you enjoyed the pictures of our growing little girl!  She turns 18 months in 2 weeks!!!
