I always laugh when I hear people use that word or see it in a magazine but I am using it right now because that is exactly what we had the one week Trey had off. And we had a rockin good time! It was so nice to just relax and do fun things close to home. We pretty much went to Hershey Park every day. I am a huge fan of our Hershey Park passes. I can't believe I forgot how much I love rollercoasters! Lucy is such a little daredevil. She loves all the fast rides, especially the Scrambler because we get to "squish Daddy" and yet we can't get her to ride on the horses on the carosel. Oh Schmoocy.
Our friends, the Smiths, came up from DC to stay with us and go to Hershey park. They are awesome photographers and just plain awesome! We had so much fun hanging out. Lucy just loved Van. I was surprised at how well they got along, seeing as how they are both active little 2-year-olds. Here they are sharing a bowl of cereal...This is sweet little Lila. Such a little cutie.
We all went to Hershey Park together & had a grand old time. One day the weather was supposed to be crummy so we used our Groupon for Indian Echo Caverns. This place was so much cooler than I thought it would be. We ended up getting an hour long tour of it! The cave was really deep with all these different rooms and crazy rock formations. There was a room in there called the wedding room and people actually get married there. Our tour guide said 2 couples had ceremonies there over the past month...strange...but to each his own I guess.
Here we are inside the cave. Nice Luce. The girl doesn't like to smile for the camera these days.
The jellyfish
There was a little pond down there and the water was crystal clear.
I felt like I was hiking through a slot canyon only underground.
This was the main room. It's hard to capture how interesting it was in there with pics because it was really dark in there. It kind of felt like we were on another planet.
This is the entrance to the cave.
When you come out you have climb the 72 steps you took to come down to the cave entrance and there is a little petting farm area for the kiddies. As you can see, Luce thoroughly enjoyed feeding the sheep.
The week after Trey had a bunch of orientations and things so he had to go to the school every day but he was pretty much free in the evenings so we were still able to have some family fun before he started rotations.
Trey turned 27 on June 29th so we celebrated with all his med school buddies. He requested banana cake with cream cheese frosting so I tried it out. It is sooo delicious! Think of banana bread only lighter (like cake) with yummy cream cheese frosting on top.
Luce was in charge of candle placement.
Trey enjoyed the singing
The candles were blown
Here are most of the nerd birds, we were minus the Bakers, E-Chang.
The past weekend we hung out with all these peeps up at Keuka Lake, NY. We are still recovering from all the crazy fun. More on that later. :)

Ha ha, we taught Van in Nursery. He is the cutest, and busiest little 2 year old I ever knew! It looks like you guys are really loving Hershey! Good luck with rotations Trey.
