2 months already!

2 months went by fast!! Our Ruby is growing and filling out like a champ. The girl loves to eat, what can I say? She's definitely a part of our family. And just like the rest of us, when she gets "hangry" (angry because you are hungry) you definitely know it. Ha ha, she's so much like Trey and me already.

Here are some fun things about 2-month-old Ruby:

• Her stats from her 2 month appointment are: height - 22.4 inches (62%), weight - 11.8 lbs (79%). Like I said, the girl is a good size. :) We love chubby babies!
• She smiles and coos for us all the time now. She gives us huge wide-mouth grins too. So fun!
• She reaches for stuff, like my plate, my hair, Lucy's hair, etc.
• She's in love with the animals hanging from her bouncer seat. She'll smile and talk to them and occasionally give them a playful punch in the face.
• She's a bubble blower.
• She's a happy baby, except when she's hangry of course. :)
• She likes to toot...and they are stinky! Ha ha!
• She sniffs me like a dog sometimes, it makes me laugh.
• She's already got the bored sigh down pat.
• She doesn't really dig a bottle.
• She loves to watch her big sister do anything.
• She still loves bath time.
• She is an awesome sleeper, like 8 to 9 hours straight at night and then I'll feed her and put her back down for another 2 or 3 more hours. She's a gem. Not much of a long napper, just takes little cat naps but I'll take it!
• The zantac is really helping her reflux, which is a huge relief.
• She's already starting to drool like crazy, just like Lucy. I think we might have another early teether.
• Her favorite thing to suck on is my thumb. The Nuk binky is definitely 2nd.
• When I stick out my tongue she'll stick hers out too.
• She was intrigued when I blew some bubbles for her out of my chewing gum.
• She's less hairy all around, but she still has her fuzzy upper arms. Her mullet is in full force while the rest of her hair is thinning and turning a lighter color. I'm predicting another blondie.
• Her eyes are turning a pretty light blue like Lucy's.

Three of my friends/neighbors and I all had babies within a month of each other so we got together and took pictures of all the babes together. It was so hilariously cute! All us moms just giggled the whole time. They were being so funny. Elijah kept poking at Ruby and then they had their arms locked around each other at one point. They are lined up according to when they were born. Ruby is the oldest of the group. Three girlies and one boy. What a bunch of little cuties.
