A few days before Trey took Step 1 we decided to go buy some awesome $5 kites from our favorite store (Christmas Tree Shops) and try them out.
Trey went with the monster crayon kite of awesomeness. It was large and in charge.
And up it went! We had such a fun time! Trey and I felt like giddy little kids again. That's one aspect of being a parent that I really love. You get to re-live fun parts of your childhood.
Lucy loved running around and chasing the kite.
Good times were had by all.
Luce helped with the string that broke. She was trying to fly it like the kite. It was funny to watch.

Looks like fun. What were your other kites?
My kite was having issues, hence no pictures. It has 2 strings so you can make it do tricks.
So cool! We wanted to buy a kite for the little man for his birthday, but figured we might wait until he is a little older than one. Ha!
