Graduation from Penn State!

I used to enjoy blogging. I hope I get back to that point sometime soon. :)
Okay, here is another catch up post.

On May 19, 2013...TREY GRADUATED!!! And it was AWESOME!

Lots of family came into town. It was so fun to have almost everyone there and show them around good old Central PA.
We went to The Amish Farm and House in Lancaster.
Here are my girls with their Grandpas sitting in front of the house.
They gave us a tour of an old Amish house and farm and told us all about the Amish way of life. The girls were a little bored during the tour but they loved the farm. They had goats! And a huuuuge mama pig with the hungriest little piglets I've ever seen.
Testing out an Amish buggy. That baby had a red velvet interior. Pretty fancy I'd say.
Next we had to take everyone to Intercourse and get some ice cream and pretzels at the Country Kettle Kitchen. Lucy got to decorate a cookie in one of the stores.
For dinner we went to a gigantic Smorgasboard at The Shady Maple. I couldn't believe the size of the place. It looked like a convention center. It was crazy! It had tons of delicious comfort food, PA Dutch style.
Then we went home and put the girls to bed and went to Trey's med school roast aka The Chocolate Follies. Oh my gosh, it was awful! I don't even want to talk about it. There were a few good skits though and Trey's band saved the show at the end. They sang a few songs the parodied and they sounded great!!
Here's my man rocking his electric drums
The next day was Hershey Park day! Hooray! We had a blast. It was sad to think that was our last Hershey Park day for a while. :(
This was Ruby's first ride on the carousel. She looks serious but she was smiling and having herself a time.
Lucy and Gpa Chuck on the Starships
The spectators
Lucy's first ride on the kid swings. She gave it a thumbs up.
Frog Hopper with Gma Robbie was a treat.
We played there all day long until we were beat. We had a blast riding the rollercoasters with the sibs while the grandparents took the kids. Well, Ruby actually rode the Coal Cracker with us. I love how calm she is while we're all screaming and laughing.
And then the next day was finally graduation!!! Here is a pic of Trey's class if you can even see any of their faces.
Reading the Hypocratic Oath
Ha ha ha, Trey looks pretty stoked.
And he's officially an M.D.!
Nicole and Phil (it just so happened to be Nicole's birthday too)
Our happy little family. Cheryl brought us leis to wear.

Mandy and Mike Dee
Trey and his parents
Here is the proof. I still need to get that baby framed.
Chris and Cheryl, the Hawaiians!
Cory, Lauree, Dylan, Wren, Heath and Helen. Oh and there's Lucy in there too.
Trey and his sissy
Aunt Lo came too!
Here's all the gang. Trey totally had one of the loudest cheering sections. One family had us beat because they brought noise makers.
Saying goodbye to friends. Amy and Marbles.
Chang's mom! She was so so sweet, she cooked us some yummy meals.
Kate and Milly!
Best buddies. We miss our Kate.
We rounded up some of the crew.
The Bakers! Love them.
And don't forget White Mike sporting his bowtie. Those Niehoffs took such good care of us.
After we celebrated at one of our favorite restaurants, Houlihans, with the fam and then bid everyone farewell. It was quite the exciting weekend and after we were pooped! The grandparents all stayed a few days extra.
It's always hard to say goodbye.

I am so proud of my husband and all the long hours he put in to making his dream a reality. It was a lot of hard work but it sure paid off. He will be an amazing Anesthesiologist.
Thank you sooo much to all our family for coming out to support us. It meant the world to us to be surrounded by so many loved ones during this exciting time in our lives. We could not have done this without all of your love, prayers, packages, phone calls, notes, texts, etc. We love you!!!

Now, off to Cleveland!!!
