Last but not least...

The medical school application season is officially finished for this young man. Interviews are all completed and I've heard back from all of my schools as of this morning. I want to do a quick summary of what has happened since we were initially accepted. I got a letter from Penn State this morning...well actually it was more of a packet...with a cover letter that says I'm accepted. Woohoo! Iowa rejected me a few weeks ago and I removed my application from consideration at Medical College of Wisconsin (I just didn't get the right vibe from the school/student body). So out of the five interviews, I was accepted to three: U of Vermont, U of Toledo, and Penn State. I am so thankful for the way things have gone this year. Not only did we get in, but we have choices. It is going to be a tough decision. Michelle and I are going to write up a pros and cons list tonight and try to hash it out. I'm grateful to all of those who have interacted with me during this whole process. Everyone has been super positive and it rubbed off onto us. THANK YOU! I don't want to name names, but you know who you are. We're so pumped with the way our life is going...baby on the way, spring is trying to come out and play, I finally have a job interview, we're going to med school, etc. Things were a little sketchy there for a while, but we had faith things would work out and they are/have. Anyway, just a little update on what is new from my perspective. Here are a few pics from our Goblin Valley/Moab trip that should also have made the cut.

Is the hymn, "I'll Go Where You Want Me to Go" playing over & over in your head, now? :)
That's great you have so many choices - probably not very many Med. School candidates get accepted to that many!

Congrats and good luck on the decision. You saw how Phil and Nicole bonded with his classmates and their significant others, so take your time in the decision. What will be will be, and so it goes....

We are totally supportive of your decision making ability, and wherever you go you will have an impact because of who you are. What a great opportunity to grow and help others to do the same. We are totally proud of you both.

AWESOME! If you want info on Penn State we have friends there. I think that is where you should go. Since my opinion holds so much weight, I thought I should tell you. :)
