Logan

After Tooele, we headed back to my parents house and the next day we went to Cache Valley!  As we were driving through Sardine Canyon I was getting so excited to come around that last bend in the road to see this!
Ahhhh....how I've missed you my beloved Cache Valley!  It felt like I was back at home.  It's strange how I can feel that way about several places.  CV will always hold a special place in my heart.
We first stopped to see my cute Grandma Darley.  I just love her to pieces. We took Lucy out back to feed the goats.  Look at those baby goats!  They were so stinkin' cute!
That one got a little friendly with my dad, ha ha
It was also the most aggressive and wouldn't let any of the other goats eat.  Lucy kept saying "He's hungry!"
Then I ventured out to Logan to meet some of my ladies for lunch at Firehouse.  Traci, me, and Melissa all were brought together by Icon, the place I used to work.  These ladies helped me stay sane during the Icon craziness.  It was so fun to chat and to meet Melissa's little lady Wren.  She looks 100% like her daddy.  She's a little cutie.
Then I made a stop at the USU Bookstore to get Trey a game day shirt and I met up with my parents, Gma, and Lulu for some Aggie Ice Cream!  I convinced everyone they needed to try the Aggie Blue Mint and it did not disappoint.  Just as delicious as I remember it!
Here is a pic of the beautiful Wellsville Mountains taken from the back seat of the car...
We drove back to Grandma D's and hung out for a little while.  Lucy was entertained by my sunglasses.
Nice "blue steel" Luce.
It was so great to visit Wellsville and Logan.  I have made so many great memories there.  So many childhood memories playing with my cousins, but also college and then meeting Trey, getting married, and living there for 2 more years and making great friends in our married student ward.  Like I said earlier, Cache Valley will always have a special place in my heart.  If we could somehow end up back there after all the med school and residency business is over, I would loooove it!

I always say that the idea that Chris will graduate, get a job at Utah State and I'll be able to finish out my days in Cache Valley is my coping mechanism through the grad school days! (I might be delusional thinking it will happen, but it's getting me through these years.)

We've decided the closest we can get is to retire to Cache Valley, but I'll take it :) See you there, ladies!
