Just like old times

I forgot one to mention one other thing I did while I was in Utah.  I went to the Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros concert at Pioneer Park with Tbone and Nico.  It was totally a last minute thrown together outing but I'm so happy it worked out so I could see these 2 lovely ladies.
I haven't seen Tara in 2 years and Nicole in 4, I think.  Yeah, it's been awhile!  Way too long if you ask me.  I've been friends with T since middle school and we met Nicole our sophomore year at Utah State.  We had the best apartment that year, we had way too much crazy fun together.  It was awesome how well all 6 of us roommates got along and became such good friends having not known each other at all beforehand.  It was definitely meant to be. Gosh it feels like that was a million years ago!
The concert was pretty funny.  The main singer, I'm guessing his name is Edward, was nuts!  He looked like a homeless man and flitted around the stage like a fairy.  Is that what's cool these days(hippie-grunge?)?  There were sooo many people packed in there.  The crowd was made up of hipsters and a few real hippies...and then there was us.  Ha ha, not exactly our crowd.  It made me feel old, but it also made for some great people watching.
I had such a good time catching up and having some good laughs.  A ladies night with good friends is definitely good for the soul.  Thanks to my Mom and Dad for watching Lucy so I could go pretend I was back in college for a night.  And hopefully it won't be another 2 years before I see these beautiful faces again.
