Lucy's 2-year-old pictures

Most of you have probably already seen these on Facebook but I thought I would put some on the blog for good measure.  And I need to do something to distract me from all the crazy flooding that's going on all around us.  I have seen flooding like this once before in my lifetime (in Iowa, summer of '08).  I do feel safer knowing I'm on the top floor of our apartment complex and we don't have a basement to worry about.  Enough about that...here are some cute pictures of the Lucy our friend Beth took at the Milton Hershey School.  Lucy had so much fun.  It took her a while to warm up to the camera but once she did, she was posing left and right.  She was being such a little ham, Beth got a kick out of her.

This one is Trey's favorite, he says it "melts his heart", awww...

 See the bench she's laying on? Who knew that there was a wasp nest underneath it! We disturbed the wasps and Luce and Beth both got stung!  She was super upset so we calmed down by relaxing in the grass and eating Craisins.  Poor little thing.

 I totally wasn't planning to be in any of the photos but Lucy tackled me and Beth got some great candid shots.  You can see by my arms that Lucy decorated me with stickers.
