Happy 5 to us!

It was our big 5 year anniversary on August 8th.  I can't believe it's already been 5 years!  Ca-ray-zee!!  It's funny to look back at our wedding pictures because we look so young!  And thin!

Trey is so sweet.  He surprised me by planning the whole thing.  We kind of stretched out our anniversary celebration between 2 weekends.  Friday (Aug. 5) we finally went to Harry Potter 7, part deux.  It was soooo good!  We are huge HP nerds, I seriously almost cried several times.  And we ordered the super-good-for-you super buttery popcorn, something we never do because it's so stinkin' expensive!  But man was it good.
The next Saturday Trey reserved us a spot on a dinner cruise on the Susquehanna on an old school paddle boat.  He also gave me some moneys to go buy myself a "hot" dress and shoes!  He really knows the way to my heart.

We had quite an interesting time getting to City Island (at one point we were running to catch the boat so it wouldn't leave us) but we made it just in time!  It was really fun to get all dressed up and go out just the two of us.  The boat was awesome.  The view was beautiful.  There were a ton of old people and they liked to stare at us.  I think they were just jealous because we looked smokin'. :)  I'm totally bummed we didn't bring our camera but Trey brought his phone so we snapped a few shots of us being nerds. (I guess I'll be adding those later because I can't find his phone...)  Here is a pic of the boat I found online...

Cute huh!  I kept thinking about the "booze cruise" episode on The Office, probably because of the open bar they had going on.  I was just waiting for the impromptu dance competition to start.  Unfortunately we did not have any Michael Scotts on our boat that night.  

So that pretty much wraps up our anniversary festivities for this year.  It's sure been a wild first 5. I can't wait to see what the next 5 brings!  

Ain't nobody else I'd rather spend it with. :)
