"I hate it, but I love it..."

Tony Horton is one crazy kook, but man does he know his stuff! If you want to get your butt kicked(I mean that in a good way), give P90X a try. It's a series of intense workouts, targeting specific areas of your body on certain days of the week. We are on Week 6 and here is our schedule:
  1. Chest, Shoulders, & Triceps, Ab Ripper X(this is insane!)

  2. Plyometrics (my fav)

  3. Back & Biceps, Ab Ripper X

  4. Yoga X

  5. Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X

  6. Kenpo X (this one is fun)

  7. Rest or X Stretch
This is Tony, the creator. He's kind of a goober but it makes me laugh. Tony says the "X" is for eXtreme, which is about right. It really is like Tony says at the beginning of one of the workouts, "I hate it, but I love it!" Totally cheesy, but it's true!

Unfortunately, we aren't perfect at doing it everyday because other things come up through the week, but we try to make it there at least 3 or 4 times a week. It's fun because we meet our friends Clay & Jess at the Thunderdome and we all do these crazy workouts together. I definitely feel a difference in my endurance and my arms. Trey is also feeling more toned and it looks like he's lost some weight too. Isn't it great what exercise can do for you? It makes you feel so much better about yourself. It also motivates me to eat more healthy. It's kind of a domino effect. Try it, I dare you!

Man I want P90X!! Oh well, at least jazzercise starts up again soon! Weren't you guys going to order it for yourselves? Also, how did you make your friends list tell you when the blogs have been updated? I want that!

We are fans of P90X too! Isn't the ab workout a killer! I never thought I would be able to do so many pushups. Keep up the good work!

ab riper x, i love it but i hate it. man... that guy is crazy...sadie and i cant stand listening to him so we set it to music and prompts only.

Jordan and I have that too. I am always so sore the day after the work out. It kicks my butt big time
