Christmas crafts and such

I've been really busy crafting this month with Christmas and all the fun things that go along with it.  I wanted to make new stockings this year to replace our awesome burlap dollar store stockings we've had for the past 4 years.  Yeah, it was time.
I decided to use that little girl I posted a few posts back for my stocking, and then I embroidered a little red bird for Lucy's and a robot for Trey's.
Here is the chubby birdy:
I forgot to take a pic of the robot before I attached him to the stocking.  It was a lot of work but I was happy when they all came together.
Here are the end products:
I gave the robot bright blue high-tops just like Trey's
We usually buy an ornament every year but I decided why not make one since I was on a crafty kick.  Here is our 2010 penguin.
I made a felt pinwheel to stick in our milk bottle.  Don't you love this little set?  My mother-in-law gave it to us.  It's a little tray and bottle for cookies and milk to set out for Santa.  I'm sure we will get a lot of use out of it in the coming years.
Remember how I was in an ornament swap?  Well this was my favorite ornament I received, isn't he adorable?!  I love the little flower detail.  I was giddy when I found this guy in my mail!
And I was also painting like mad to get this robot done for our friend Kate's birthday.  We have one similar to this that we have in our house and Kate always commented on how much she loved it so we decided to make her one of her own.
I think I'm going to take a break from felt and embroidery for a little while and focus on painting some stuff for our apartment.  And maybe learning how to sew cute things, maybe something fun for Lucy and baby shower gifts.  Who knows.  I also want to learn how to quilt and knit.  Looks like I already have a good list of goals for 2011. :)

I love your crafting talent! P.S. The fabric you used for Lucy's stocking is the fabric of Berkley's Christmas dress.
