We actually did it!

Goodbye glorious mullet! Yes, Lucy and the wild mullet parted ways today. Trey almost cried. :) It's weird to look at her from behind because I'm so used to seeing the tuft of hair at her neck. But it was definitely time. It's not the best haircut in the world but it will work for now. She's sporting a mini-bob. I think it's an improvement from the mullet.

Here are the before pics:

Look how long it was when it was wet! Holy sheesh!
We turned on Pocoyo to keep her distracted. She was still pretty squirmy though.

And after:

She's looking at us like, "What have you done to me?! That was the only hair I had! It took me 18 months to grow that!"
And there is the pile of hair that used to be the mullet. We are not those people who save their kid's hair after their first haircut. Call me crazy but I think that's weird. I wouldn't know what to do with it.

Her hair looks a adorable! The first hair cut is always the hardest but it always looks better after!

I love it!!! Lookin' good, Lucy!

And I'm so with you: what would you do with old hair?? Or those people who save teeth??? Ew. Chuck it and move on.

Love her new do!

I saved your first haircut and also all your brothers, probably because my mom saved mine. I still have it, even, in my baby book. First haircut is a milestone.
