This year Trey's fam did a homemade Christmas theme. All the kids made their cousins stuff and so did us big people. We made Matt & Kristy fleece blankets with things embroidered on them. I didn't take a picture but we were happy with how cute they turned out. Matt's was black with a big red "U" in the bottom right corner. Kristy's was navy blue with cool medallion designs on it and we sewed a big dragonfly in the bottom right corner. Lucy had her 10-year-old cousin Dylan so we made him a shark rice bag that you can heat up in the microwave to keep you warm in the winter and a mustache shirt.
I also made Lucy a Muno from Yo Gabba Gabba with some scrap fabric a neighbor gave to me a while ago. (thanks again Jenni!) His arms turned out a lot buffer that the real Muno. He's been pumping some iron. :)
And I made myself a corn bag to replace my old gross one. It's so great to have to warm up my feet or put on my lower back when it's feeling achy and such. Since we've been sick the past few days we've been watching Portlandia on Netflix. I totally "put a bird on it" and it looks so much cooler now.
Next craft I will attempt is making Lucy a purse...I'll let you know how it goes because this will be my first purse/bag making adventure. Wish me luck!

Portlandia is so awesome! They film all over town and we even saw some action at one of Lilly's friends neighbors house. I am not sure if that episode has come out yet, I don't think so. Anyways love your crafts! That shark looks so comfy. Have you seen all those mustaches attached to paci? so funny!
Gotta love the crafts!
I want one of those corn bags -- EVERYONE keeps telling me I can make one....but I'm too afraid to start, I guess. Are you for hire? :)
I can totally make one for ya Suz! Do you have any special fabric you want me to use?
