A week before the real Christmas Eve we had our pretend Christmas Eve in PA. Santa came early to the Banbury's because we are that cool. We didn't want to bring all the presents with us so we thought it would be fun to just have 2 Christmases, a Pennsylvania one and a Utah one. Luce opened her Christmas Eve jammas and we set off on our mission to find the most awesomely decorated house. We saw some pretty good ones but this one took the cake. Yikes! It was a little bit out of control but they definitely win this year.
On Christmas morning it was so fun to watch Lucy open all her presents. She was so excited that Santa came and brought her toys! I only took a few pictures because that morning it was a bit crazy trying to get everything ready to head to the airport at 11am. Here is one of her cute face when she opened her Mrs. Potato Head.
We had our traditional breakfast of Swedish pancakes & bacon. Delish as always! Next year we'll have to make ebelskivers...or maybe for my birthday in a few days. :)

I grew up having aebleskivers on Christmas morning....a Danish tradition that goes back to my great-grandparents and further. Kinda sad...it was a tradition that got dropped when I got married. My aunt even gave me the aebelskiver pan for our wedding, but I've never even opened it yet - I think I would ruin them! But they're GOOD! Enjoy 'em for me! :)
