It was such a fun, relaxing day. Trey even took the day off from studying to play. I tried something new, I made crepes for my first time that morning. We put fat-free vanilla yogurt in the middle, then topped it with cut strawberries and a dusting of powdered sugar. It really hit the spot! I'll definitely be making those again really soon. We played around that morning, cleaned a little (not much at all), played our daily dose of Just Dance 3, and bundled up to head outside for some snow time!
Luce loved to pick up snow and throw it. This snow wasn't like regular PA snow, it was nice and fluffy. So fluffy that making a snowman was out of the question. But it was fun to play in nonetheless.
The slide was super slick so we built up the snow at the bottom so Lucy would have a nice place to land. Here is a clip of her flying off the slide, ha ha.
She also insisted on swinging. She really misses her playtime outside(me too Luce!). Can you tell? Such a happy girl.
We went in later and had a lunch of grilled cheese, tomato soup and apple slices, the perfect lunch on a cold snowy day in my opinion. Later we went back out for round 2 and then headed over to our neighbors, the Hills, house to play, chat, and drink hot cocoa and munch on cookies. It was such a loverly snow day. I guess I could go for a few more of those...but then bring on spring! This pale skin is in need of some vitamin D! :)

Sounds like a perfect day!
